Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

Do I have to attend the church to receive help?
No. Our services are open to every neighbor regardless of faith, background, or whether you've ever set foot in a church. We will never condition support on church participation.
Is there a cost?
Most programs are free. A few classes have small materials fees, which we can waive for anyone who asks. We never turn someone away over money.
How do I sign up for a class or program?
Use the Find Help form or call us. We'll match you with the right program and walk you through registration.
How is my information used?
Information you share stays with our small outreach team and is used only to follow up on your request. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I volunteer if I have a busy schedule?
Yes. We have one-hour-a-month roles and we have weekly roles. We'll find something that fits.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. The Norwalk Seventh-day Adventist Church is a 501(c)(3) religious organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
What's the difference between the Church and the Center?
The Church handles worship, prayer, and spiritual community. The Center handles community service — food, health, family, financial, music, tech, and emotional support — for every neighbor.
