How we handle your information
This page is maintained by the Norwalk Life Transformation Center to answer common questions about privacy, safety, and the technology behind this website. It is editable project content, not an independent certification.

What we collect from this site
We only collect what you choose to send us through a form on this site:
- Help requests (name, optional contact info, the need you describe).
- Volunteer applications (name, contact info, your interests and availability).
- Contact messages (name, email, your message).
- Newsletter signups (email and optional name).
We do not ask for or require any religious affiliation to receive services. We do not run ad trackers or sell visitor data.
How submissions are protected
- Form submissions travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our hosted backend.
- Submissions are stored in a database with row-level security enabled. The forms are insert-only from the website — submissions cannot be read back through the public site.
- Only the small outreach team running this ministry can read submissions, and they use them solely to follow up with you.
- Every form input is validated on the server (length, format, allowed values) before it is saved.
Safeguarding the people we serve
Because we serve families, children, and vulnerable adults, our volunteers follow a written safeguarding policy. Read the details on our Safeguarding page and our Non-Discrimination policy.
Subprocessors & hosting
This site is built and hosted on Lovable Cloud, which provides our web hosting, database, and form-submission backend. Email is delivered through standard email providers used by the ministry. We do not embed third-party advertising networks.
Your choices
- Ask us to delete information you've submitted by emailing hello@lifetransformationcenter.org.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any newsletter email.

Compliance notes
The Norwalk Life Transformation Center is a community-outreach ministry of the Norwalk Seventh-day Adventist Church. We describe enabled technical controls factually; we do not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, or similar certifications.
